とにかく雨を嫌い、つぼみが濡れると咲かない上、初年度はあまり花がつかない。
小さな樹だが株そのものは丈夫で、いったん咲くと花保ちはよい。
無事に咲いたときは、ごらんのように繊細かつ可憐な花がみられるので、
焦らず時間をかけて育てること。
